Our Mission is to promote human dignity,
to highlight the preciousness of life,
to encourage people to live life fully,
and to help people integrate better into society.

To achieve these goals, CWS functions to:

• co-ordinate, as far as possible, Catholic voluntary welfare activities within Singapore, not only between members of the Council but also with other organisations.
• receive, administer and distribute funds and goods entrusted to it, to various forms of relief and social services schemes.
• collate the opinion of persons or organisations on the subject of social conditions in Singapore, and to take all necessary steps to interest and educate Catholics in social welfare
• survey, collate and compile an annual report on the Catholic voluntary welfare organisations of Singapore.
• present the Catholic Welfare Organisation's view on social welfare problems and needs to the Government or any other interested official body.
